What Are Polynucleotides and Why Are They a Hit in Aesthetic Medicine?

Polynucleotides are one of the most interesting innovations in aesthetic medicine in recent years. These are natural substances derived from salmon fish DNA that have an exceptional ability to stimulate skin regeneration at the cellular level.

Unlike hyaluronic acid, which primarily hydrates the skin, polynucleotides trigger the skin's own repair processes. They stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin, improve microcirculation, and have anti-inflammatory effects.

The treatment is particularly suitable for the under-eye area, where the skin is thin and delicate. Polynucleotides can reduce dark circles, fine wrinkles, and volume loss in this delicate area — without the risk of swelling that comes with classic fillers.

Polynucleotide application is quick and comfortable. The product is injected using fine needles or cannulas into the middle layer of the skin. The treatment takes approximately 20–30 minutes and the client can immediately return to normal activities.

For optimal results, we recommend a series of 3–4 treatments spaced 2–3 weeks apart. The effect is cumulative and results are visible gradually — skin becomes firmer, smoother, and healthier-looking.
